The unit sprang a leak twice. Each time, I was given the run-around by customer service: wrong numbers for people to call; stiff shoulder, rudeness. And each time the company wiggled its way out of the warranty. Here is a company with no compunction about selling terrible product and dumping its customers. BEWARE. |

They've been doing it for 8 years!I installed this pump in no time and they'll never have to empty it again! This pump works great. Very basic, but it does the job nicely. It makes very little noise. Turns on / off smoothly and quietly. Pumps for a few seconds to clear out the basin and then goes back to rest until it fills again. The pump does not come with either inbound or outbound tubing / hose, so you will need to buy them separately. Also, I found the instructions a bit skimpy and less clear than they could have been. You just need to read it closely and do a bit of fiddling to get it to work properly. As elsewhere mentioned in these reviews, a key thing is to ensure that the water / condensate source (i.e., the dehumidifier or AC unit) is higher than the Little Giant pump. This allows the water to flow easily... It's pumping straight up 6 1/2 feet and then propelling the water another 15 feet through flexible tubing in the ceiling before it begins a downward descent through pvc pipe. No problems. This econometric study covers the latent demand outlook for year-round unitary single package and remote-condenser air conditioners with 185,000 to 249,999 BTU per hour excluding heat pumps across the states, union territories and cities of India. Latent demand (in millions of U.S. dollars), or potential industry earnings (P.I.E.) estimates are given across over 4,900 cities in India. This statistical approach can prove very useful to distribution and/or sales force strategies. Using econometric models which project fundamental economic dynamics within each state or union territory and city, latent demand estimates are created for year-round unitary single package and remote-condenser air conditioners with 185,000 to 249,999 BTU per hour excluding heat pumps. This report does not discuss the specific players in the market serving the latent demand, nor specific details at the product level. The study also does not consider short-term cyclicalities that might affect realized sales. The study, therefore, is strategic in nature, taking an aggregate and long-run view, irrespective of the players or products involved.
This study does not report actual sales data (which are simply unavailable, in a comparable or consistent manner in virtually all of the cities in India). This study gives, however, my estimates for the latent demand, or the P.I.E., for year-round unitary single package and remote-condenser air conditioners with 185,000 to 249,999 BTU per hour excluding heat pumps in India. I also purchased this item as a replacement for one that is 10 years old.When I received the product it came quickly but when I open the box I noticed a return defective sheet inside. OMG- Plumbing Planet sent me a defective pump. I sent a email through Amazon and Plumbing Planet replied that they would ship me another pump out ASAP and I could keep the defective one for parts.
I would purchase from plumbing planet again! Good Job!
